RHONDA STARK DESIGNS

Our History

Growing up in Marengo, Illinois, with few choices in activities, Rhonda found her way into sewing early on with the help of her Mother.  Later on, Rhonda opened a fabric store offering fabrics, notions, sewing machines and sewing classes in Schaumburg, Illinois.

This is when her true love for design ignited and she started attending a local fashion design college while simultaneously managing her store.  Upon graduation from Harper College, she was asked to take a teaching position at the school.  After a year of teaching fashion merchandising classes, Rhonda decided to commit full time to focus on developing her own business.

After closing her shop and relocating to Park City, Utah, Rhonda established herself as an accomplished seamstress and started selling her own designs through a well known local boutique.

That was in 1993.  Now, having grown at a deliberately careful pace, Rhonda Stark Designs has arrived at what it is today – a modern clothing company designing and manufacturing wearable, attractive women’s wear which has found a loyal audience all over the North American Continent.

We are proud of the combination of good quality, stylishness and diversity that our collection offers and equally proud that the entire Southwestern group is made in the U.S.A.  

The European and Far East origins of our contemporary group add an element of sophistication to the collection and allow us to offer it at affordable prices.
